Stewardship Agreement

The BFLT has Stewardship Agreement with the NC Clean Water Management Trust Fund and the Town of Sandyfield, North Carolina for 33.2 acres along the Beaver Dam Creek in Columbus County. The Stewardship Agreement is a conservation easement for riparian buffers to provide environmental protection for surface waters and urban drinking water supplies and establish a network of riparian greenways for environmental, educational, and recreational.
