The vision of the Green Church Initiative is to encourage the faith community to embrace a holistic approach to their stewardship role.  We believe there are four core principles that advance our mission of ensuring, protecting, and preserving land assets:

I. The Earth Keeping Principle (Stewardship)
II. The Inheritance Principle (Wills, Estate Plans, and Farm Transition)
III. The Fruitfulness Principle (Making the land a safe place to live and a place to produce healthy food for each of us)
IV. The Sabbath Principle (Land Management and Conservation Plans)

We give you thanks, most Gracious God, for the beauty of the earth and sky and sea; for the richness of mountains, plains, and rivers; for the songs of birds and the loveliness of flowers.  We praise you for these good gifts and pray that we may safeguard them for our posterity.  Grant that we may continue to grow in our grateful enjoyment of your abundant creation, to the honor and glory of your Name, now and forever. "
